All companies involved in paint and coating manufacturing, as well as companies who supply products and services to the Industrial surface coatings business, are happy to come the GPA. The GPA represents over 95% of all paint and coatings made in Gujarat, India, and may have the biggest member base of any industrial group.

The GPA is authorized for both Ordinary and Associate Membership memberships. Applicants must complete the required guidelines in required to be deemed for membership in the GPA.

The application forms will be sent to the GPA Secretariat in Ahmedabad, Gujarat if they have been completed according to the published guidelines. The application will eventually be submitted to the concerned regional committee at a regional meeting, which happens once every 3 months.

After discussing on the application during in the meeting, the regional committee may submit it to the association’s secretary for approval or rejection by the governing body. The applicant is notified that their request has been approved and that they are now a member of association, with complete access to all of the association’s services.

The completed form may be faxed or e-mailed to the GPA Secretariat at Ahmedabad.

If a copy is sent through fax or e-mail, it should be told in advance. A signed copy should be mailed separately, together with a cheque, bank draft, or direct bank transfer in the amount of Rs. XYZ/-. Only after receiving the signed application form and payment will the application be handled.
